Community Bridges, founded in 1982, is a non-profit agency with a mission to advance the integration, growth and interdependence of people with developmental disabilities within their own communities. Building on the strengths of over 1,100 individuals in the greater Capital Area and their families, we work to identify barriers of access and find creative solutions to develop meaningful community engagement.

We are currently looking for full time and part time Direct Support Professionals for the Day Program in Franklin, NH!

Basic Function:

In the Franklin Falls Day Program Facility, we are supporting individuals who experience developmental disability and/or have medical needs that require constant attention throughout the day and occasional behavioral challenges in their home and community. They each have regular daily routines and activities they enjoy in their community and they love to learn and see new things. The Direct Support Professionals provides support to the individuals by attending medical appointments, monitoring their health, safety, nutrition, grocery shopping, community activities, and community connections.

Qualifications:

Education: High School Diploma or GED required.

Experience: Experience in the human service or related field with persons experiencing disabilities desirable.

Reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, and proof of automobile insurance.

Compensation: The starting rate for this position is $13.00 per hour. There is a $1,000 sign on bonus for this position - $500 will be paid at time of hire and $500 will be paid after 6 months in the role!

Paid Time Off: For a full-time employee working 40 hours a week, 264.16 hours of Paid Time Off is received per year!

Mileage Reimbursement: Employees are reimbursed for approved mileage driven on the clock.

Paid Training: As an employee, you are paid your usual rate of pay while attending trainings!

Current Open Positions Available at the Facility:

Full Time - Monday through Friday 8am-4pm (40 hours) Franklin this position requires driving wheelchair van

Full Time - 35 hours Monday - Friday 9am-3pm in Franklin

Less Than Part Time - Alternating Tuesday and Fridays (5 hours/day) Andover
