Community Bridges, founded in 1982, is a non-profit agency with a mission to advance the integration, growth, and interdependence of people with developmental disabilities within their own communities. We currently serve approximately 1100 individuals in the greater Capitol Area. Community Bridges assures and maintains the integration, growth and interdependence of people with disabilities in their home communities so they have positive control over the lives they have chosen for themselves. Community Bridges is a leader in the development of and advocacy for innovative approaches in supporting families.

We are currently looking for a full time START Clinician in Claremont, NH!

Basic Function:

The NH START mission is to increase the capacity of the community to support individuals with developmental disability and mental health concerns. This is done through cross systems crisis planning, community training, clinical services and partnering with teams and families.

START Clinicians engage in rigorous training to become certified in the first year of employment while managing a partial caseload.

In this role you will provide clinical assessment, collaboration and consultation using positive psychology and a biopsychosocial perspective. START Clinicians provide comprehensive service evaluations, cross system crisis plans, intake/assessments, intervention and outcomes planning to individuals with dual diagnoses (developmental disability and mental health concerns).

Education: Master's Degree required in related field.

Experience: At least two years of experience as a clinician or service coordinator with Intellectual or Developmental Disability/Mental Health population, ability to work with complex systems and interest in the population is essential, and can work independently and stay organized work skills along with superb communication and writing skills are essential.

Compensation and Schedule: Starting salary for this position is $38,000 and can increase based on experience. Once certified (after one year), this position receives a pay increase. Additionally, There is a $500 sign on bonus for this position - $250 will be paid at time of hire and $250 will be paid after 60 days in the role. This position is 40 hours a week, Monday-Friday.
