Job Coach

Community Bridges is a non-profit area agency celebrating over 35 years working with individuals who experience development and intellectual disabilities. We are located in the Concord, NH area.  Community Bridges assures and maintains the integration, growth and interdependence of people with disabilities in their home communities so they have positive control over the lives they have chosen for themselves. Community Bridges is a leader in the development of and advocacy for innovative approaches in supporting families.

We are currently looking for two full-time Job Coaches for the SEP Program in Concord, NH!

As a Job Coach, you have the opportunity to work one on one with people and provide job readiness skills, job coaching and job placement. You will provide individualized support to people with developmental disabilities and facilitate their training and integration into a worksite. You will network with area employers to secure just the right job for those you support. You will help identify needed job accommodations and/or assistive technology needs. Help them to build natural supports. Provide trainings for job seekers in the areas of grooming, hygiene, communication, resume writing, interviewing, and behavior as related to successful employment. You will be able to attend trainings to become knowledgeable of strategies and current "best practices" in the field of supported employment.

Education:  High School Diploma or GED required.

Experience:  Experience in the human service or related field with persons with disabilities desirable skills in coaching, mentoring, or vocational also desirable.

The starting rate for this position is $12 an hour.

Current Open Positions Available in this Department:

Full Time: Monday through Friday 8:30AM to 5PM (40 hours)

Full Time: Monday through Friday 8:30AM to 5PM (40 hours)

Part Time: Monday through Friday *flexible schedule (20-29 hours)
