Life Skills Coach

Community Bridges is a non-profit area agency celebrating over 35 years working with individuals who experience development and intellectual disabilities. We are located in the Concord, NH area.  Community Bridges assures and maintains the integration, growth and interdependence of people with disabilities in their home communities so they have positive control over the lives they have chosen for themselves. Community Bridges is a leader in the development of and advocacy for innovative approaches in supporting families.

We are currently looking for a Life Skills Coach for the CSS Department in Concord, NH!

The Life Skills Coaches provide coaching and assistance to adults with intellectual disabilities. This includes assisting with skill development on activities of daily living which may include supports with money management and budgeting, meal planning and preparation, health maintenance and expanding knowledge of community resources. Some other activities could include assisting with shopping; coaching to improve living conditions or practicing good communication and social skills. The individuals do not live in a Residential Home and live in their own homes. The Life Skills Coach takes the goals that the individual is trying to achieve and help them develop the skills over time.

Education:  High School Diploma or GED required.

Experience:  Experience in the human service or related field with persons experiencing disabilities desirable.

The starting rate for this position is $11-12 an hour.

Current Open Positions Available at the Residence:

Part-Time position is open, hours depend on candidates availability. Typically days for work are between Monday through Friday.
