Basic Function: Request funding and tracking use for e-mods, specialty supports, and START, and assisting with balance sheet reconciliations.

Hours: 20 hours per week, this position is not eligible for benefits. 

Specific Duties and Responsibilities

  1. State Medicaid funding liaison for START services
  2. Research, track, report, and maximize START Medicaid utilization
  3. Analyze and reconcile START revenue on financial statements
  4. Assist with Balance Sheet account analysis and reconciliation quarterly
  5. Track, report, and record specialty supports funding and invoices
  6. Request funding for environmental modifications
  7. Other duties and projects as assigned



Education: B.S. Degree in Accounting and/or Finance or graduating within the upcoming year 


Required Skills:

  • High degree of accuracy, organization, and attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • To be able to process information in multiple systems, with divergent purposes and time frames.
  • Precision in working with volumes of data, both written and electronic.
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite, with high level Excel skills including VLookups and Pivot Tables.Ability to communicate clearly in written and financial reports, as well as verbally.
  • Must have excellent interpersonal skills for interactions with Department Heads and State Liaison.
